Week 6 Class & Workshop

This week's classroom lectures and workshops were conducted by Neasa and Kruthi. The theme they chose this week was the role of technology in nursing.

Neasa showed us examples of devices such as emWave 2. emWave 2 helps users achieve a coherent state through interactive games and exercises. These games and exercises can enhance users' adaptability and affect their response to external stressors. Neasa also showed us Dodow, which is a device that uses projected light to reduce the user's heart rate to 6bpm, which is the best heart rate for users to fall asleep. Another example of technology to help users fall asleep is an application called "Sleep by Headspace", which is a voice-guided meditation application.

After Neasa, Kruthi introduced us to ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response). This is a tingling sensation that passes from the back of the neck to the shoulder and can be triggered by sight or sound. Some people are not affected by ASMR, while others are more susceptible to a trigger.

What happened after this is today's workshop. We are divided into four groups of five. One person from each group is placed at each mission point, and when they complete the mission, they will go to the second mission point and mark teammates to start their mission. The first task is to eat Oreo without both hands. The second task is that members must throw food, drink and fun into a small cup from a distance. In the third mission, the player must guide the empty jar of Pringle's fries through the maze attached to the floor according to the oral instructions of the player in mission 2. The fourth task is a team member with a balloon tied to his ankle, Kruthi tied his hand, once their hands are tapped by the team member who completed task 3, whether or not the team reaches this stage All must try to destroy the opponent's balloon. The final task is for the member to flip the cup from the standing position to the edge.

In the end, my team won the final victory. The members of our group are very happy about this.
