This week's speech and workshop are the last. Hosted by Tarun, Sreejith, and Brian, the theme of this class was "Elderly Design". They divided the topic into three main categories. Brain first introduced the current problems faced by the elderly and current technologies. Then Tarun explained the future elderly Technology and innovation (such as wearables and robots). And finally, Sreejith explained the strategy to make the elderly enter the city.
The workshop we distributed this time is a product designed for a group of seniors to go out and play, which can facilitate them to travel abroad. We have designed a machine that is placed in a fixed location to facilitate users to arrange their own travel itineraries and print them into paper documents. This file can be printed on any machine. And it is convenient for the elderly to use. After the discussion and design, we showed our design to everyone in the form of a sitcom.
